Light in the Mist

 

Welcome to Light in the Mist's page, one of the final game projects of the Master 2 Video Game at Ynov, Aix-en-Provence campus.

You will play as Prosper, the main character, a young detective from the fictional English town of Limbo Bay who is sent to investigate the recent disappearance of the two lighthouse keepers, Edgar and Allan. The deserted lighthouse is full of clues left behind by its occupants.

Newspaper articles, logbooks, tapes... Everything will help to understand what happened leading up to the difference. Through the discoveries, you, the player, will understand the relation between Edgar and Allan, their thoughts, their perception of the events, until you reach the top of the lighthouse, where Prosper will stumble upon the most disturbing clue of all...

This project is unfinished and its production is paused. However we will hopefully get back to it in the future to change and add content, then possibly to finish it.

Bienvenue sur la page de Light in the Mist, un des jeux de fin d'études du Mastère 2 Jeu Vidéo d'Ynov, campus d'Aix-en-Provence.

Le joueur incarne Prosper, le personnage principal, qui est envoyé enquêter sur la disparition récente de deux gardiens de phare, Edgar et Allan. Le phare déserté regorge alors d’indices laissés à l’abandon par ses habitants, libre à la consultation du joueur. 

Articles de journaux, journaux de bord, cassettes… Tout est à disposition pour comprendre ce qu’il s’est passé avant l’incident. Au fil des découvertes, le joueur comprendra la relation entre Edgar et Allan, leurs pensées, leur perception des événements, jusqu’à aboutir au sommet du phare, où le Prosper voit l’indice le plus troublant de tous…

Ce projet est actuellement en pause, nous espérons avoir le temps d'y revenir pour modifier et ajouter du contenu afin de terminer celui-ci.
